Integrated Quantum RF Hardware
Radio-frequency and microwave systems are critical tools for controlling optical, atomic, and quantum experiments. They enable laser stabilization, electro-optic modulation, optical frequency shifting, microwave-field generation, and precise timing across complex experimental platforms. As these experiments become more complex, custom RF hardware is often needed to achieve the stability, bandwidth, timing, and compactness that off-the-shelf systems cannot provide. In this research area, POSM develops RF and microwave hardware for quantum experiments, including frequency-control electronics, high-speed drivers, mixed-signal PCBs, and early-stage integrated circuit concepts for future sensing and control platforms.
