POSMq

Modern quantum experiments rely on many interconnected hardware systems, including lasers, optics, electronics, sensors, and mechanical stages. As these systems grow in complexity, manual tuning becomes slower, less repeatable, and more sensitive to drift across the experiment. Model-based lab control addresses this challenge by connecting hardware settings, sensor streams, and digital models into a live software layer for monitoring, diagnosis, and automation. In this research area, POSM develops POSMq, a platform for experimental control, drift detection, hardware modeling, and automated setup decisions across cold-atom, photonic, and sensing experiments.
